For auction is a 1930s-1940s era Roamer Swiss-made manual wind mechanical wristwatch movement and caseback. It has a two-tone black military style dial with a sub-seconds hand at 6:00 o’clock. The hour and minute hands have cutout centers. The dial is signed Roamer, Shock Resist, Swiss. The winding stem goes through a hole in the side of the case back, I don’t know how to remove the stem so I don’t have access to the movement. The case back reads Roamer, Stainless Steel Case, Waterproof, Brevette, [Swiss cross logo], 215999, 180459. The case is about 27mm dia. Feel free to ask questions. This is a vintage watch being sold for parts or repair. It is in ‘as-is’ condition with no returns or guarantees. I do not know the service history. The watch winds and sets. After winding I left it flat on a table and it ran overnight. The movement is finicky to get started and it’ll need service. The dial is very aged with a rough patina. The hands have bends. The case back has scuffs, scratches, and dings. The pictures are the best indicator as to condition, please use the zoom feature and check them out.
