For QUICK ACCELERATION kit, Request at checkout in the « Add Message » tab a 14t front QA sprocket This is a versatile gearing change, because you can switch back to a stock 15t with the same length chain. Your bike will be quicker, and quicker mid range roll on’s, and be easier to wheelie, but will have less top speed and higher top gear cruising rpm’s. For EXTREME QUICK ACCELERATION kit, Request at checkout in the « Add Message » tab a 14t (-1t) front sprocket, and a 42t (+2t) rear sprocket 14/42t Extreme QA Kit. Crazy quick off the line launch, way easy wheelies, but reduced top speed and very high freeway cruising rpm’s. OEM RATIO is the DEFAULT for this listing. Stock gearing is the « Happy Medium » of best acceleration and speed for all around riding with the least amount of compromise on the top end and the low end. If you are using your entire gearbox now, OEM Ratio 15/40t is best for you. Teeth and Sizes Explained…** A -1t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +3t rear sprocket change. ** A -2t front sprocket change is EXACTLY the same ratio change as +6t rear sprocket change (Very Extreme change) ** A -1t front and +2t rear combination is EXACTLY the same as a +5t rear only change with stock front sprocket. ** A 520 size chain is approx. 2mm narrower than a 525 chain, and 4mm narrower than a 530 chain. Less mass equals lighter weight equals easier to spin, but the ratio (teeth size) change makes the big difference.
