This sale is for MY NUMBER 20440553, ONE (1) lot of THREE (3) Authentic, Official, Genuine, United States Government Mint Issued QUARTER DOLLAR (25C) DENOMINATION U.S. BICENTENNIAL YEAR 1976 COINS. These specimens were originally struck at Philadelphia on Solid Base Metal Alloy Planchets. These standard issue 25C coins, bear the bust of President George Washington on the Obverse. A relief strike of a Patriotic Drummer adorns the reverse, marking the Spirit of Independence declared by the United States of America on July 4th 1776. These 5.6 Gram, 24.3 mm Quarter Dollars were only minted during the Two U.S. Bicentennial Celebration Years of 1975 -1976. They are difficult to find today, mostly because of hoarding.
