When fired with a heavy load cartridge the barrel moves backward and at the same time gives the first movement to the breech bolt. In this way the recoil is reduced and the stability of the gun is controlled by effectively minimizing muzzle jump. This feature also increases the accuracy in serial shots to one or more targets. VENZA gives a feeling of shooting light load cartridge even with heavy loads. Also, in conjunction with the use of smaller diameter gas feed ports, muzzle jump is much reduced. This gives added stability that enables any subsequent shots to be more accurately taken.
