The first picture shows a full glued together rifle of this model kit as a sample. Note: There may be some color variation between parts due to multiple rolls of filament required to 3d print this model. Up for sale is a custom designed Battlestar Galactica Cylon rifle model kit. I designed this for Cosplay or for a simple display piece. It’s not an exact replica of the original, but very close in design and size. Once assembled this is full 1:1 scale and very close to screen accurate and size. It is semi-solid and a static prop so no electronics can be installed. This is a 3D printed item printed that took about 117 total hours to print. It was printed in four parts and can be glued using the four square keys to assemble it. The muzzle and saber slide into a hole/slot and will need to be glued also. It is sturdy yet light weighing in at under 2 lbs. It was printed in plastic PLA filament. Note: it does have a few blemishes but overall a nice prop for Cosplay or to display. It measures about 30″ long (not including muzzle or saber) x 9 1/4″ tall x 2 1/4″ thick It measures 37″ long to the saber. I’m also including two complete sets of different color barrel clips – clear and white. These simply snap on over the round barrel to give it a more authentic look. I don’t recommend you glue the clear clips on as the glue will show through and cause issues. The white clips can be glued on. Note: You may some layer lines from the printing process, which is normal. Take a close look at the pictures and ask questions before buying. Assembly:Each square key fits inside the hole on each part(s). Lightly sand the surfaces that will be glued. I recommend PLA Gloop, Weld On 16 or Gorilla Gel Based super glue (doesn’t leave much working time). You will need to purchase the glue you choose to use for this project Weld On 16 is my personal glue of choice. The first two glues you will need to be careful and follow the directions. There will be seams where the parts connect and if so desired I recommend filling with adhesive caulk using a damp sponge to work it into the seams and clean up the excess. For paint I recommend Rustoleum Ultra Cover Paint + Primer in Canyon Black. (See last pic of glue and paint you can purchase to make this model).
