She was a passionate Christian artist who painted Messianic, Biblical, and Christian themes all depicting Jesus Christ as the focal point. She was not afraid to shine light into dark places as she sometimes touched on sensitive themes such as abortion, child abuse, and substance abuse in her paintings. Beth Sweigard lived in Kent, Washington until she passed away on September 14, 2016 at the age of 84.
