WE’RE TOLD THIS IS AN EDWARDIAN AGE PIECE AND IS WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN USED IN THE FINEST OF COUNTRY ESTATE HOMES IN THE PERIOD. This wonderful hotplate server will assist modern host / hostess in the know in keeping party food hot longer. Party Buffet Sized. Look at the workmanship of the spirits burner on track and it is all 100% functional as when made over a hundred years ago. No monograms. This was a showpiece set used by my grandmother then my mother, even when not in use these looked quite regal on the buffet sideboard.Truly remarkable classic pieces from my Grandmother’s estate which we believe she acquired these from Harrods in the 1960s or in NY at Bergdorf Goodman.
