Fleischmann of Nurnberg, Germany, Circa 1960’s or so. Probably the best looking HO Alco FA diesels made! These loco units are all heavy diecast metal. One unit is powered, while the other is a dummy. This is the way they were originally sold. I track tested the power unit and it runs forward & reverse, with the headlight working, but it is in dire need of a good cleaning & lubrication, as these have been sitting unused for many decades. These came factory equipped with NMRA style couplers. The dummy unit has a non-original coupler mounting screw at the front end and the coupler may be a replacement. The decorative horns are a bit bent, but should straighten out, please see photos. Anyway, these old eyes don’t see like they used to, so I ask that you take the time to « ZOOM IN » and look the photos over very closely, to determine for yourself just what we have here.
