This repair kit includes one (1) shaft, one (1) screw, one (1) spring, and two (2) washers intended to replace those that originally came with the Fostex TH-X00 / E-MU Teak headphones. They are used to attach the ear cups to the headband. Reassembly diagram included. Compared to the OEM parts these replacements have minor cosmetic differences but are functionally equivalent. None of them are original Fostex / E-MU parts. See the pictures for comparisons. All parts are stainless steel. The shafts are produced using CNC machining. Please note: I cannot guarantee that the parts won’t fail in a similar way one or two years down the line. The fundamental design of the fasteners is flawed. These parts are just replacements. Ideally, they will last longer since they are stainless steel. (I haven’t had any reports of them failing yet) Parts also available for sale individually – see my other listings. Important: Before you order, if you still have the original bolt that you are replacing, please try to compare it to the pictures I have posted as an initial test to see if this will be a compatible replacement. Some Fostex/E-MU headphones use a very similar looking part that lacks one set of the little notches. If the body of your bolt has four notches (two short, two longer) like in the pictures above, this should work for you. If your bolt has only one pair of notches, this will not be compatible.
