eBay Hammond Tone Cab Controller for models DR-20, JR-20, HR-40, PR-40 and other vintage Hammond speaker cabinets This controller/adapter has a 5 pin output that goes to the standard Hammond Tone Cab 5 pin to 6 pin cable, and plugs into the vintage Hammond tone cabinets. IT provides power and a 1/4 inch jack for TRS balanced input. If you use a vintage Hammond instrument the level should be hot enough, but if you are using an non-Hammond instrument or a modern keyboard or guitar, you’ll need a preamp. I recommend the ART tube MP they have lots of gain, take a balanced or unbalanced input and output and usually cost about $40 here on ebay. Feel free to ask questions through the ebay system, but please be sure all messages start with telling me exactly which cabinet you are using or hope to use, and what you intend to plug into it (what instrument), but read on and your questions may be answered.
