Latency of just 1.9 ms (in unencrypted mode), has a switchable encryption mode to prevent interception of the audio signal when desired, ‘e-ink’ display is readable even when the unit is off, has a low RF power setting to save battery life and double the number of usable wireless systems that may be used simultaneously. Equidistant channel spacing allows up to 20 EW-DX systems to be used simultaneously for EACH available UHF TV band so in most locations it’s possible to have 50+ EW-DX wireless systems operating simultaneously. Die-cast metal construction, compact and lightweight. AA battery powered or has contacts for use with the BA70 rechargeable battery pack and CHG-70N charger/dock if desired. EW-DX wireless systems may be configured, controlled, updated, and monitored using EM-DX receivers’ front panel controls and display, via a network using Sennheiser Control Cockpit or WSM software, or via Bluetooth using the Sennheiser Smart Assist apps.
