This is in my opinion the finest hat, coat and umbrella rack I have ever seen, you would have come across this design many times over the years however never with this turned walnut column, this is where it all originated from, this was the first one ever designed, it has the stunning hand carved oversized feet, it is an six prong top and its nearly 2 meters tall, it also has the extra scarf hook which others don’t have, it is a wonderful and important antique that any fine furniture connoisseur will recognize straight away There are traces of the original paper label to the base as pictured, again, you could see 10,000 of these and of those, the originals would number maybe 100, of this model, maybe 1 and the same with the original label, none, this is it!
