Founder Sheila Thompson recreated many landmark locations, collaborating with the National Trust For Historic Preservation in 1997, to design and reproduce the Trust’s eighteen historic properties. Her amazing miniature recreations also included lighthouses, Governor’s mansions, famous people, signs, landscaping items, and many additional iconic items and one of a kind collectibles. About The Artist and Her PassionIn 1979, Sheila and Jim Thompson started their collectibles business in a tiny home workshop in Charleston, South Carolina. Using her singular vision, skill, talent, a five-dollar ($5.00) investment, and a borrowed saw, Shelia created these timeless, historically accurate works of art.
