Introducing the Ultra Rare Classic Old School Wenger GST AIR Titanium Chronograph 4 Hander Watch. OEM Ti Bracelet. Not to be confused with the newer, mass produced Wenger GST line that pales in comparison to this true 27 jeweled, hi end movement (found in many old school Tag Heuer watches) real chronograph watch. Engineered out of a solid block of titanium and designed to withstand some of the most severe climatic conditions found on mother earth. Occasionally, you might see an old school Wenger GST Classic, Sea or Field, quartz or auto, chrono watch come on the market but when was the last time you ever saw the AIR version? I would guess, never. They are that rare. This is a true pilot watch so the chrono function is slightly different that the standard chrono version which is where the extra chrono pusher comes in. This watch does not come with instructions so please be sure you take the time to fully understand the watches complexities before you try to return claiming there is an issue with the chrono function. I can assure you, I have tested all functions and they operate as designed, for real military pilots. This classic timepiece is in overall very good to near excellent used shape for it’s age as it has seen a relatively limited amount actual wrist/flight time. Sapphire crystal w/anti glare coating appears to be mark free. Ratchet compass bezel looks very good with no obvious wear marks or any missing black paint noted. Some tiny micro marks may be seen to the sides of case. Caseback does have a few minor scuff marks as well as a few tool marks which will never be seen when worn. Even the OEM, near full length Ti bracelet, looks amazing but does reflect the bulk of the wear consisting of light scattered scuff marks. Slightly heavier scuffing to the outer wrist bracelet segment and to the clasp simply from typical desk diving in an office setting. Titanium is such an amazing metal. It’s surface can seem to mark fairly easily. However, you just can’t hurt this metal. Until you’ve really tried titanium, you will never really know what all the rage is about. So light yet so, so strong. Ready for flight, playtime, extreme adventure, military personal or add to your collection to proudly display. Please review numerous hi-res pic’s under magnification and consider as part of description. If I failed to verbally mention something but you notice in pic’s then you can consider it as described as the pic’s speak for themselves. Watch has always been professionally maintained and will arrive as clean as you will ever find. Recently fitted with a fresh Energizer battery and running strong. ALL chrono functions operate as intended and calibrate to zero positions when reset. Some specifics: Watch measures just over 1 1/2″ or 39mm across case excluding crown, chrono pushers and lugs. Width between the lugs is 20mm. Bracelet includes all but one of the full compliment of factory issued links and should accommodate up to an apx 7 3/4″ to 8″ wrist circumference (or smaller). Individual links can easily be removed to find your perfect fit. NO add’l links are included so please bear this in mind prior to placing a bid/offer. Included is the super cool, ultra rare watch only. NO boxes, extra links or paperwork. You will likely need to find detailed instructions to fully understand the complexity of the chrono functions.
